I've nearly finished the wall-hanging :~) - and have received many nice complements from folks who saw me working on it. I'll post a picture later.

I tried to order a 40" circular Addi-Turbo so I could try the "magic loop" sock method, but I haven't heard anything from the site - they said they would send an e-acknowledgement, but.........................??.................

The weather here has been terrible - there was an ice storm and the wind is blowing very hard. Last night it sounded like a freight train was coming through.

I got the copy of the picture of the DGKs today & last night they finished decorating the frame so it will make a nice gift for their G-Grandpa. I know he'll love it. My son sent me a copy of his rememberances of grandad & it was great. I haven't seen yet what my daughter will write about "gramps", but I'm sure it will be wonderful, too. I got my own written & found some nice cards to go with the gifts, too. Tomorrow is the BIG day - he'll be 80 years 'young'.
