1 UFO down..................too numerous to mention to go

I finally finished my quilt that was part of a project challenge in the Piece & Comforters Quilt Group. I am embarassed to say that the original ideas were from 2002!!!
Each person was given a month & was to select a pattern to make a quilt to which other members would donate a block of the quilter's choice. My month was December; I chose the pattern "Autumn Sampler" - which I changed to "A Christmas Sampler" & asked for one of two different blocks from my fellow members. I contributed the cream color fabric for a sig' & a piece of my focus fabric (it's in the outside border) for each participant.
The blocks are the ones in the middle of the quilt. I made 3 more blocks to fill in the center & put a ceramic Christmas button on each of them.
This is an entirely scrap quilt. I made all of the border blocks from Christmas scraps that I had + a few donated by the contributing members. I quilted around each block with stitch in the ditch, but put some stars in the outside border.
It did turn out really nice, but I just can't figure out why it took me S-O-O-O long to finish it.
