I've finally completed the "Wandering Cable" socks (Pattern by Jeannie Townsend, yarn is Regia - color Forest Glen). I have never had so much trouble with a pattern before. First I kept getting mixed up & doing the pattern wrong - 3 full frogs there :~( . Then when I got them all done, I found the foot was WAY to big, so had to frog back the foot and put in reductions to make it fit my foot - double :~( :~( .

But then they were OK. Check out my pictures; there is only one foot in the socks 'cuz' I'm still in an air cast on the broken leg foot. The other is the cable pattern itself - thanks Jeannie for a really challenging sock!!
On other fronts our DGS Michael is fitting in pretty well at our house - now if we can just get him to put those dirty clothes IN the hamper, LOL. His school work seems to be doing well, too. His mom & little brother are getting ready to move into a different house - now she can keep her horse near home all year-round, plus her friend Lawrence has horses, too, so she now has a riding partner - something she has wished for a long time.
