Happy, happy New Year to all. It is going to be the best ever! We'll just have to make it so.
Mike & I did not stay up to greet the new one, but it got here just the same. We'll have baked ham for supper + a dish of black-eye peas for good luck in the new year. I can't remember where I read that, but know it is a tradition 'down south' & since we like 'em, it's not a difficult one, LOL.
Got the slippers completed & I'm going to have Mike put them on & take a picture. They will be my "winter socks" for the 4-season sock-a-thon that I've joined in one of my Yahoo groups.
We got a nice new kitty, her name is Luna. My DD found her in a woodpile at the place she works. She is a real sweetie & as our Katie said "I can't figure out why someone would throw her away, she is so friendly". Now we just have to convince our other cats that she is, :~), :~), ;~). I'll get some pix of her, too.
OK, now get out there & make it a great year; GET SOME UFO's DONE!

(we do every year because the spousal unit's brother has red hair).

Now, I've never heard of that one, LOL.
