Fall, 2007 Camp, my space - where I made the quilt I shared below.
I forgot to take pictures of Spring 2008 Camp, so can't share them.
A very, very beautiful appliqued flower quilt made by one of the founding members of our local quilt group.
I wanted to share some pictures with all of you. I haven't uploaded my latest ones so I got some 'old' ones out to share.
And, now, the peanut butter cookie recipe from drMolly & Mike (my DH):
Double Peanut Cookies - adapted from 1975 Better Homes & Gardens Homemade Cookies Cookbook
1 cup butter
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar - can substitute turbinado sugar if you have it
2 eggs or 1/2 cup egg substitute
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour - I use 1 cup WW pastry flour & rest unbleached flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup raw peanuts
Cream first 4 ingredients; beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir together flour, soda, and salt; blend into batter. Stir in nuts. Form into 1" balls or scoop with a cookie scoop and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork like regular peanut butter cookies or just with fingers. Bake at 350 for 10-11 minutes - don't over brown. With my scoop it makes 4 dozen - the recipe says 6 dozen, but they never make "real sized" cookies, IMHO, LOL.
This recipe is in response to the long discussions about peanut butter cookies, both on the Sock-a-thon & the Townsend KAL sites. I hope you like it as well as Mike does - it's his favorite cookie recipe - right below oatmeal raisin, VBG.
