Working 1/2 day - preparing for the grand dinner with 8 guests - that makes 10 of us to fit into our smallish dining area. But we shall prevail.
Here's a nice old-fashion turkey to grace the blog.
I was going to cast-on for the Cedar Leaf Shawlette (by Alana from the "nevernotknitting Podcast" http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/never-not-knitting/875760/176-200), but after I had done the swatch to make sure I had the right gauge, my size 7 circular needle disappeared! I looked in all of the places I could think that it might have "got off to", but no luck. Now I shall have to get a new needle before I can start the shawlette. BUMMER!
