even if it is still raining. There was some more today, but I was not caught in any & I had my raincoat with me everywhere I went so I'd be prepared.
This evening, 'tP' is taking me for a ride in a "new" pickup that he is interested in purchasing. It would be a step up for us as it's a 3/4 ton diesel 4X4. It would make our hauling jobs easier, and we could afford it. We shall see.
My seeds are not ready to plant yet, but I'm going to have to get some protection for the corn plot before planting this weekend. The neighbor's chickens keep getting out and they just love to "bathe" in the dust of the bed. I'm going get some chicken wire & make a temporary fence - after the corn plants are bigger the chickens won't be able to damage them.
