although you all know as well as I that around here it has been "autumny" for quite some time now. Luckily has not frozen yet, getting a lot of rain, but it is supposed to clear off tomorrow, so those row covers will be handy to get onto the tender veggies still in the garden.
I hope to get the chicken house "siding" finished on Sunday. Saturday is the #2 GS's first soccor game so gram & gramps MUST attend, of course. We plan to have a picnic after since it's going to be nice.
I finished the #6 bump of the NZ long-wool that I've been spinning on the drop spindle. There's only 2 more bumps to go and then I'll do some plying. I'm still not sure what it will be - guess I'll wait until after the plying and see if I get any inspirations.
Just the toes left on the Maizey socks - I don't recommend this yarn - it is splitty and there were several knots in the skeins, sometimes the whole yarn and sometimes part of the plies. Not a good thing, especially for socks! I also found an errata in the CookieA pattern (it was one of the free ones). I have not yet checked on Ravelry or other sites to see if anyone posted about it.
