Our trip "up north" was good. It was so nice to visit with the DS & "the artiste" (his SO). There was a little drama as one of the kitties had gotten some really bad virus and had to stay at the vet's for some treatments - he is an older guy and was hit pretty hard - the other kitties are getting preventative care so maybe they won't get sick. M & T don't have children, so their kitties double as "their babies", LOL.
We took the #2 GS to the Pike Place market; he enjoyed himself a lot. The DS took a really cute photo of him on the big brass market pig - I am having him send me a copy and I'll share when I get it. We got some lovely lunch at a local restaurant; I got a new teapot; the GS got some goodies and we got some lovely soap & hand salve, along with some honey, for T (she was home taking care of said kitties).
It was absolutely beautiful weather, too. Then a bit later, the DS and 'tP' took #2 up to the Space Needle - now that he really enjoyed although he thought it was cold up there, but he liked looking through the telescopic viewers.
All-in-all it was a good trip.
Tomorrow I'm off to my bi-yearly escape to quilt camp. It is a lovely time where we do whatever we wish (in the crafting / hobby department) and even have the meals cooked for us.
I'll post some more pictures when I'm back.
