HAPPY NEW YEAR !

& yes I know it was a few days ago, but this is the first I've gotten to write in here. We spent our time off from work getting some things done around home. First we put away Christmas and then started the all-over house clean. We're going to have to work on it a little at a time as we never seem to have any large blocks of time to do such. Ah, but it will get done.

We don't do resolutions, but plan this year to set some goals (realistic ones!) and follow through as we prepare for our retirement (less than 2 years for me and 3 for 'tP').

We brought home a new addition to the "homestead" on Sunday - meet Teddy, he's a German / French angora rabbit.

I got 'the farmer's Christmas Sock-a-thon socks done, too (OK, they were late, but I was nearly successful). And, I have re-started on the Shawl Collar Cowl made from my handspun SW merino, dyed in the Blue Velvet colorway.

And here's a photo of one of my gifts from 'tP' - a beautiful Jenkins Turkish Delight spindle (along with some fiber samples that were included).
