and I'm back at work. It was in the lab again for me - I'm really getting tired of being a 'lab rat', but who else will do it as there is no money to hire another technician.
OK - enough whinging - right??
Our 'million-dollar kitty' was very glad to get home. The poor thing lost a lot of weight during her yarn seige and can eat but a tiny bit until her tummy and other digestive areas are healed. She is still pretty much under the weather and sleeps a lot.
My Daisy-dog is growing and growing; she is coming along fairly well in the training area. She does have a bit of trouble with the 'stay' command, ie. she knows stay, but she doesn't get that she is supposed to remain there until she is told she may leave. If something side-tracks her attention she forgets what she is to be doing. My previous dog-training experience was with a puppy as young as one can get them from their mom and Daisy was an older girl when I got her, so I'm thinking she already had some bad habits.
It's not raining, but is cold and humid and freezing rain or snow is in the forecast. It really makes me feel cold. I end up having to wear a sweater or something like nearly all of the time. Makes me realize I REALLY do need to make some more sweaters so I can have some nices things to wear (some of my "something nearly like"s are not so attractive, LOL). Any excuse for more projects is always useful, right?

Have just finished reading about your kitty issues. Sorry -- and about the bill, too. I look forward to following your stash building.
