awoke this AM to the white stuff on the ground and icey roads. I have the 4-wheel drive to use for a couple of days while 'tP' visits his BFF in WallaWalla (was in hospital for a bit and has some health problems). So, I don't feel to worried about getting around.
Working, working, working seems to be in the books for now, though. I have some presentations to prepare for my meetings in Tucson next week and the usual stuff in the lab & GHs, too.
I sent off the bears and the SFS socks yesterday, so that's two more projects retired for a bit. I'm trying to get those darn UFOs into the finished catagory; although I have to admit to casting on for the Shawl Collar Cowl (I had to do three different swatches before I could find a yarn that would work - my handspun would not, a fuzzy merino nylon that I had would not work, and now I'm using some alpaca / silk that someone gifted me a while back). It is a dark red yarn - not sure it will be OK for me, but I'm going to use it anyway and hope for the best. At least it's not bright red - not for me, that!
I've been working more in the craft room with the storage and inventorying of my various stashes. I even am getting pictures of my patterns! I'm going to have that stuff catagorized to a 'T' and maybe then I'll be able to remember what I have and I REALLY will be able to use it.
