And on to another week,

at least it's not snowing. There's clouds, there's rain, BUT no snow!!! :~)

Weekend wrapup: nearly finished with the pruning (just a couple of really high branches I could not reach & 'tP' was not there to hold ladder); combed out my angora bunny Teddy and got another ~ 20 g of fiber; started on spring cleaning (I start in one room and work my way around the house, doing the things that only get done 2X per year); had a great time at my LSG (local spinning group) potluck and monthly meeting - we had an equipment review and we got to see different carders and combs, plus some other pretty wicked looking tools that help one to clean & prep fibers; got some spinnig done on the SW merino from FreckleFaceFibers (the Sunspot colorway) that I'm doing on the Jenkin's Turkish Delight spindle - I filled up the spindle with some pretty finely spun single and got ~8.7 g of yarn; worked on my latest pair of socks (I'm making a 'sort-of'' vanilla pair using a knit2,purl1 ribbing instead of just stockinette); and made a really good mincemeat pie! It was too wet and cold for much outside work, so did not get anything else done outdoors.

Weekly plan: We're having 'tP's BF for a visit this evening; I have to go to the orthopedist tomorrow afternoon for my knee, and then on Wednesday I have to go to my regular doctor for another problem that I'm having (we won't go there in the blog'cuz' that is just a little bit TMI. tho'); 'tP' has bowling league on Tuesday & Thursday; I'm going to take down the curtains in the dining room and give them a wash, starch & iron, then I'll wash the windows, clean the sills & door frames - I do love a clean house & really don't mind doing Spring cleaning, LOL; I want to get some sewing done, maybe and there's always laundry and the regular housework.
I'm hoping there might be some at least decent weather so I can get something done toward finishing the chicken house & pen.
