but as the snow was coming down "in buckets" and the forecast was for more, I made an executive decision and cancelled the meeting. Now, of course, it warmed some and all of the roads are realtively clear, so I suppose some of the members will think I over-reacted. But one just can't wait too long to make such choices - there has to be time to notify the members. I hope no one was too disappointed.
So, anyway, now I'm home tonight by myself as 'tP' can go bowling now that the roads remain clear. It looks like a soup night, LOL. I hope to get some crafting in also. I'm doing my best to finish up these knitting UFOs or get rid of them (ripit, ripit, ripit) one way or another!
And today is the #1GS's 18th birthday! We're taking everyone out for dinner on Thursday as his mom has college tomorrow night. It seems such a short time for 18 years to have come & gone. Like 'tP' said just a couple of days ago "Wasn't he just 6 yesterday?" We are very proud of him and so glad he's become such a grand young man!
