and it looks like it will be cold for Easter (& it is late this year, one would have thought that those egg hunts would have been in nice weather). Our #2 GS is going to go on an egg hunt in the liitle town next door to ours - the "city moms & pops" sponsor one for little guys on Saturday before Easter. Since he is just 7 we figure that he is still a "little guy" although he'd be quick to tell you that is not true, LOL.I nearly forgot I wanted to start a shawl to take to my friend in England so I could have a handmade gift for her when we go in June. I picked out the Lingonberry Shawlette by Andrea Arbour. I wanted to use fingering weight yarn, but also wanted just a shawlette so I would be able to get it done in time. I'm going to use yarn from my stash - see photos.

We also plan to bring our friends gifts from the Palouse & surrounding area: a lentil/pea gift pack and a huckleberry gift pack. We wanted to share some of our favorites with them. They are going out of their way to make sure we have a wonderful time!
