A very productive day

Today we accomplished a great deal here at the homestead, both indoors and out: clean bathrooms, clean kitchen, baked bread, vacuumed carpets, clean laundry, canned stewed tomatoes, clean chicken house & fixed the hen door so it can be closed to keep them inside if we want to, pulled onions to dry, harvested kale & beets, picke raspberries, picked cabbages, measured Teddy's cage stand so I can make the protective curtains to keep out the cold wind this winter, began the winterization of the RV, and had roast chicken & quinoa salad for our supper. When 'tP' gets back from bowling tonight we'll have homemade pound cake with fresh raspberry sauce for our dessert!

Here are a couple of pictures from our last camping trip. We took the #2 GS - the big 'D' - to see the White Bird Battlefield. It is great to be able to share the history of our area with him.

and Gram & Gramps [being a bit romantic - heavens! and at their age :~) ]
