Keeping my promise to myself

Well, I've made a reasonable beginning.  Although I did some canning & freezing last night I was able to get a little done in the crafting area.  I am to the ribbing on the first baby sweater.  And almost done with 2 oz. of the 4 oz. of roving spinning on the Jenkins Turkish Delight Spindle.  I find I really-really love spindling; it is so relaxing.  Now, I just have to figure how to get myself to try spinning on my wheel again - after I retire, of course, LOL.
It's still hot-hot here and no rain in sight.  The farmers have started harvest near our home - it's the beginning of "dusty season" for me; that means stuffy nose and head.  Oh well, it is what it is.
