Rain is finally in the forecast..................

It clouded up today as we went around and tried to finish up the preparations for the cold months.  There was a tiny bit of rain that fell, but the clouds remain and the rest of the weekend is supposed to bring more precipitation.  I sincerely hope that this will be the case - we need rain so very badly around here.

I got all of the berries ready for winter & I have nearly finished the preparation to put the garden to bed - just the garlic & winter fava beans to plant.  I bundled up the 'barbie' and have stored the apples in the refrigerator in the garage.  I'll make apple pie filling and such at a later time. 

I'm working on all of my crafty projects that have been in the "pile to finish" for quite a while.  I need to start the quilt for the new great-grand baby to come, too. 
Busy, busy, busy!
