Rain on the Palouse

lets us do our indoor activities.  I plan to get a bit of quilting done today.

Yesterday I got all of the germinated corn planted, as well as some flower seeds too.  Plus as I was thinning the kohlrabies I realized I could transplant some of them as they had nice big roots.  So, I put some of the plants out into the empty parts of the garden beds.  They looked a little rough last night (lying flat on the job, even after I watered them heavily), but this morning after all of the rain they are all perked up and look like they will make it fine.

There are more strawberrries to pick, but they will have to wait until there is less rain - I hope not too many get spoiled.
