I have finished a pair of little cotton shoes for our great-granddaughter, and am working on a dress for her. Her great-great grandma bought the patterns, but can't do the sewing now due to health reasons, so I stepped in to do the "grunt work" and get them finished.
I have been doing some knitting and some reading while I am here along with all of the home watching chores.
I do want to go home soon though. I'm sure there will be lots of garden work when I get there. The DH is handling the watering & chicken duty, but he's not much good at determining when things should be harvested or what to do with them when they are, LOL.
