June 4

A mostly free day for me with just Palouse Patchers meeting tonight.  It is the end of year potluck (we don't have meetings in summer) and I am bringing rhubarb/apple bread, LOL.
The construction company is hard at work on the Mister's new shop.  When it is done and he moves all of the stuff in the garage I will have my own workspace so I can set up my quilting tables - see a very happy sewist here 😍.

I am germinating more beans and some corn to get in as soon as I am able.  I hope this strange weather will allow things to mature this year.  The strawberries are blooming, the raspberries and the cascade berries have buds and most of my veg is doing OK.  I did not get good germination on the faba beans, so they will be a tiny harvest, I guess.  But we should have good garlic and onions if they co-operate by getting nice and big.
I harvested some spinach for supper last night and there is lettuce in the cold frame that can be used.  All  in all it is doing OK with this weird weather and my poor health (joint & injury-wise).  I can't get as much done as I want and weeds are rampant in my flower beds.
