August 12 - 13

Cooler now, but who knows what shall pass?
August 12: worked around the house, picked beans & berries - I think it's the last of those until fall raspberries.  Did a lot of spinning & a bit of knitting, too.
August 13: There were 3 pints of beans, but I'm saving them in 'frig until next picking.  I'm worried the early pears & the prune-plums will be ready while I'm off to Scotland - it seems I can't pick a good date.  Sewing, today, is on the agenda.
