OK, Good riddance to bad rubbish!
Here's hoping the new one is better than this one!
I believe my word for 2021 will be sanctuary. I want to provide a place where I can be myself and not have to keep thinking I need to do something to "fix things". I'm a great "fixer" & I need to get over that. I thought that I had gained a handle on it, but it just "mutated" into another thing-making myself feel guilty that there were so many things "I" could not help with. What do I think I am anyway? I'm just another cog in the wheel of life and am only important to those who love me, and sometimes not to them when they are so tied up with their own lives that they forget what really matters.
I'm a great "preacher", but it's time, after all these years, that I listened to my own advice!
So, here's a metaphorical toast to 2021, "may it bring all that we truly need and may we recognize that when it comes."
