And we're still "enjoying" the hot weather, NOT. Today is a bit cooler, but we are forecast for more of the over 90 degree weather for the foreseeable future. My garden suffers even though I water every day; most of the veg just does not do well in that much heat.
The baby chicks seem to be doing OK, I keep the mister over their house when it gets really hot and they are big enough now to go out into the pen which is shaded-we moved the chicken house into the shade of the fruit trees. My big ladies are still giving us eggs with just a slow down due to the heat.
We are planning to take the MIster's boat and our RV to go camping up to Dwroshak Reservoir at end of next week. The #2 GS will stay here to water gardens and keep the chickens hydrated & fed.
