Welcome to Autumn, whether it's on the calendar or not. The season's changed a bit back even when it was soooo hot. One could feel it and smell it and the wind is blowing fall. We got a freeze warning already although it did not freeze here, but apparently some areas got it as the weather service on the phone listed a 31 F temperature this morning.
Spent most of the day getting Palouse Empire Fair entries ready. I'll make it easy for myself as I'm entering same things in both local fairs, one a week after the other. Am entering some knitting, some spindle spinning and some natural dying projects this year.
Garden is winding down; I picked the peas seed today as it had pretty much dried down and some pods had released their seed. The favas are not dry yet, so won't know if I get any seed for a bit. I've been collecting various flower seed for the garden next year; hoping it will be a better gardening year.
