It's cloudy & cool, but dry, out on the Palouse today.
Mike's in playing with his new BIG television & the DVR - "new toys for the boys".
I just spent a couple hours balancing the books & then I'm going to go on to the taxes, horror of horrors. We always pay - I make sure that the government does not get anymore of our money than needed, I'm not about to let them have it interest-free for a year. And I don't care if I am a government employee - no one should have to let them use the money for free - especially since they have such wonderful ways of spending it. And without asking me if I approve. I just can't understand the people who think they are getting something "back" in their refund - it was theirs in the first place & even at the low interest rates in banks, they could have had more value than a "tax refund".
Oh, well, as PT Barnum once said"..................there's one born every minute."
I'm also scheduled to take pictures of our grandkids today. We're going to make a gift for my dad to give to him on his birthday this year - March 10 will be his 80 th & mom is giving him a surprise party. She has asked all of us to make him something special.
My daughter & I thought it would be great to give him a picture of the great-grandkids. And I've discovered how easy it is to take your digital photos down to Walmart - or any other photo place - and make great enlargements, etc.
I'm making a quilted wall hanging - one of my fiber/fabric art specialities.
So, it's off to work I go, hi-ho, hi-ho.

You are more than welcome Sandie. Sometimes I just get so fed up with the "dumbness" of some people. But, of course, one never wants to let them know as it might get messy. So, I'm "always" politically correct, you might say :~)
