Back from Quilt Camp & vacation :~)

It's the Monday after Easter & I've had a wonderful week & a half of relaxing. First spent 5 days at Quilt Camp - it is so great to get away from all of the stresses at work & home and just do things I want to do, :~). I got 2 quilts finished and they will be entered into the Palouse Patcher's Annuual Quilt Show this next weekend. I don't normally enter the show - I often think my work just doesn't compete with my fellow quilters, but the chairperson, Lynne, felt I should do it, so I acquiesced & now there'll be 2 for me to show off, LOL.
Then, last week, Mike & I had vacation. Since the campground we normally go to was still closed for the season, we stayed home & pretended we were retired. Boy are we gonna' love it when it's for real. It was so nice to do things on our own schedule and not have to be anywhere at any particular time. A person could get used to it really easily.
I finished up my Cascading Leaves socks - but don't have a picture yet. I started on the Magic Loop socks so I could learn that method - it took me a bit to catch on - some frogging, but it is a pretty slick way to do socks I'll have to say. Now the next hurdle is to learn the 2 at one time method :~).
