week of April 3 / Quilting Rules!

Quilt Camp week is here ! On Wednesday morning I'll be off to Couer'd'Alene Lake to Camp N'Sen'Sed - it's a church camp retreat that is rented to groups for their activities and Palouse Patchers, my quilt group, goes 2X a year - once in spring & once in fall. I only get to go in spring as the fall activity is always when I have 'bean meetings' somewhere. But this way, it never gets ho-hum & I anticipate it all year :~). And the BEST part - no housework, we don't even have to cook!!! for 5 heavenly days. Here are a couple of projects I plan to finish while I am there this spring - they both just need to be quilted & bound.

I have some other projects in mind, too, but they'll be more beginnings, + there's always a group project, too. This year we're going to make "chicken pincushions".

It has been raining & raining, so the tree spraying will have to wait until next week. We have vacation time then & since our favorite camping park is not open yet, we plan on doing LOTS of yard work. I do need to start to get my garden beds ready. We'll take a couple or road trips, too, as that's one of Mike's favorite things to do.
