End of September - Autumn's almost here

OK, tomorrow is officially fall :~) - my favorite time of the year. I like the wind, the rain, the smells & the colors. I am sorry when it comes early & my garden is really not done - I've had to pick all my green tomatoes & put them inside to ripen. And there'll be no more fresh cucumbers or peppers as the freezing time is here. There's just beets, carrots & a few onions left in the garden. I'll be out there putting everything else in the compost pile this weekend.
The shed for Mike's "toys" is coming along & I'll have my garden shed all to myself this winter.
Here's a photo of my compost bins - I still have to put on the lid hinges, but it's working overtime now.
