I've fallen behind, LOL

I've just realized that although I've been keeping up on the m&m's blog - I haven't posted here since September.
I've finished & sent off 1 pair of BBS - see the Socks for Soldiers link - & started on the #2 pair. I forgot to take a picture, I think, of the first pair - my bad, as they turned out really well.
I got a kudo from Kim, the SFS founder, for the softness of the BBS.

I'm helping my DD & the boys finish up with their moving - they got a really nice place with some pasture, etc. so she can keep her horse out there. Now we just have to get the trailer cleaned up & sold. Boy is that a chore - the selling, I mean. It has to be moved 'cuz the landlord wants to build there & it is pretty hard to sell an older trailer that needs to be moved. I sure hope we have some luck soon.

On the old homestead front: still working on those beets & carrots. I had to take time out to process some peppers that my dad gave me - & there were a LOT of them, LOL, so it took awhile. I chopped some, sliced some & did some for stuffed peppers, then put them on cookie sheets & froze 'em. I can now put them in my 'FoodSaver' sealed bags & since I froze them separately, they can be use as I need them, ie. not in a BIG chunk, :~).
