Winters on the prairie

Here are some pictures of my latest socks. It is the Wiggle Sock; pattern by Jeannie Townsend. I've included views of the whole pair of socks, my modified Star-toe, & a close-up of the Wiggle Stitch & my heel.

Plus, you all need to know of our latest adventures out here on the Palouse. Last week I told you we were stuck in Pullman for 3 days due to the closure of the road to our little town.

And, then this week we were homebound for 2 days for the same reason. All-in-all, it is better to be 'snowed-in' as opposed to 'snowed- out' !!!!

We had 2-3 feet of the stuff, although it is now melting down. Not to compare with the 34 feet !! - yes that is 34 - in Snoqualamie Pass so far this winter. I can't even imagine 34 feet of snow, LOL. What a job.
