A kindred spirit !!

For everyone who remembers doing this as a school project around the time you were 10-12 years of age:

MEET the woman with whom I have been corresponding since we were both 12 years old - that is 48 years!

We met in person for the first time in Banff, Alberta, CANADA on Sunday May 18 - the day before my 60th birthday.

Carol & her husband Peter came for holiday to see Canada, and since they would be only ~ 450 miles north of our home, my DH & I drove up to see them.

We had a splendid, but too short, visit.

Now, we are more than ever determined to cross the ocean for a much longer stay.
