Friday and Things

Pink Dogwood blooms - Fern Prarie Farm, my folk's place - in May when we went to help my sibs with things around the place so the folks could stay in their own home. We want to make sure they can stay the rest of their lives there and that things are as pleasant as possible.

The end of another work week - and almost the end of June! "the Postman" and I spend so much of our time "on the job" (especially him due to shortages of personnel at the 'old PO'). Last night he did not get off until 6:30 PM and he starts work at 7:30 AM. We stopped for a quick hamburger before heading home to take care of our 'critter-kids' - they probably felt we had abandoned them.
He just called to tell me we would be late again tonight, but hopefully not quite so much. We rode in to work on 'Howard Harley' and this morning was pretty cool; I hope we are not so late that it will be cool this evening, too.

Here's a funny picture of Betty Boots- "Betts as Betts" - she often lies upside down, on the floor or on the furniture.
