Here is a photo of something I have finished besides working on tdf projects. They did take quite a long time - and I have to say I really don't like toe-up socks. I've determined to try at least one more time before giving up entirely - don't want to throw out the method if I find I would like it OK after all.The sock pattern is from the Sockathon Yahoo Group

for the month of February and were designed by Margrete Dolff in Germany (M.Dolff@gmx.de). She called the pattern "February". I used one skein of Zwerger Garn Opal Cotton color 2008.

The socks came out great! I was always doing cuff-down socks, but now I've done enough toe-ups that I don't seem to have a preference anymore. I like them both. I think I just like SOCKS really!! :)
Our potatos were done, unbelieveably. The plants hardly flowered before dying, so we thought we would dig them up and see what we got. Some nice large ones, about 80-90 pounds from a 5 pound seed bag! We'll take it!!
