Installment #2 - "Turning a collar"

I forgot to mention that if one wishes to have the best out-come for collar turns that one should have a garment with the collar attched via a collar stand. This is the upright fabric attached at one side to the garment & at the opposite side to the collar. See photo: the collar attached to stand attached to garment

If one does not have a collar stand I believe one could still turn the collar, it would just be a bit more unwieldly, I imagine.

I am working with a blouse that has a collar stand.

Step #1: remove the top-stitching from the collar band - use care not to cut any threads of the garment:
