Cold & cold.........

It was -5F at our house this morning, out on the frozen eastern Washington tundra, ;~).
I fear for the plants & trees as there is absolutely no snow to protect the soil and the plant roots.
We are wearing layers of clothing, but it is still cold out there - 'tP' says he can't feel his fingers even with gloves. This is one time when it is difficult to have an outside job.
I spent the morning in the greenhouses so was not cold in there, but as soon as I came outside to come over to the office - whooo-whee did it "cool off" quickly!
