'tP' & I went to Spokane today for consult with the surgeon who will do his wrist next week. I took along my Ashford Traveler to have her checked by the folks at Paradise Fibers. Amazingly, she was in great shape; even after all that moving and "traveling" she was not out of balance, just needed some oil and a new drive band, plus the suggested extra spring to go along with a new one of those for the bobbin tension. I was told she was in great shape for her age - and surprisingly, the owner Jr. recognized her seniority - "hey that's an old one" . I, of course, scored some yarn & a set of Brittany cable needles - you can't go to Paradise fibers and NOT buy anything - I think there are rules against that, LOL.
So, here are pictures of my 2 skeins of sock yarn

her name is Minerva - can you believe that? After I brought her into the house, set her down in the living room and stood there looking at her, into my head came the name - after all these years, who would have guessed?
