Got a few huckleberries today,

but they were not plentiful in the spot we go to get them. And since 'tP' is just one-handed until winter, it's gonna' be all we will get this year. There just is not enough time to go again & again, but we would have to do that to get a quantity as my back just does not stand too much of that bending over to pick.
Tomorrow is Wool Gatherer's monthly meeting and it's a bar-B-que with spouses/SO's/partners, so should be fun. We get to sit and spin or knit or whatever while the "others" visit with Lee's husband and tour the farm, etc.
The bees have eaten all the rest of our raspberries, so that's it for this year. There are pears & apples left in the orchard. The beans & cucumbers are starting, the beets are ready and the chard. After that there will be more potatoes to harvest, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. Then a bit later there will be late carrots and beets, plus some lettuce for the fall crop. A good year all-in-all, I'd say. Of course, anything one gets from the garden is a good thing :~).
