Even though autumn is not until next week, it

is autumnal weather-wise. There was rain last night and cool & breezey today. Autumn is my favorite season. I know that it is the winding down of the year, but the smells and the way it feels are just my favs.

I made stew yesterday in the crock pot - we had it for supper this evening with homemade bread & green salad. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm good! To quote 'tP' "You can't go wrong with stew!"

Here is the ccicken house under contstruction - I plan to finish as much as possible tomorrow - have to get it weather-proofed before heavy rains.

I'm going to do a bit of sewing this evening - trying to get that shirt done for the #2GS as I want to do some sewing for myself, too. And amazingly enough I may even get to make one for 'tP' - this morning he asked me about my jumper - it's a linen blend - and said he really likes linen shirts. I said I could do that and he agreed!

We're having the #1 GS over tomorrow to help out G'pa with some yard work and then for supper. The #1 GS-GF is working so she can't come, but we told him we'd send home some pizza for her to have when she gets home from work. They thought that was a good idea.
