and it's the unofficial beginning of autumn - after Labor Day - and it feels just like fall around here anyway.
I have begun the roof of the chicken house - and of course, not really knowing how roofing is placed on the plywood roof, I put the tiles on upside down! the DD looked at the house and said looks good mom, but why did you put the roofing on upside down? - she has worked at lumber stores and such so know these things - I don't OBVIOUSLY. But it will still work as the tiles are all overlapped and I did start at the bottom of the roof as one is supposed to.
I took some pictures and I will try to remember to put them on here.
This evening is my first meeting of the quilt group with me as the Pres. - remains to be seen how this goes. I can tell already it will require a lot more time than was represented when I was talked into this!
