We did make it home last night - had to go the 'round about way and it took longer, but we were home!
Today is 'tP's birthday (he's 61-shhhh don't tell) and tonight I'm taking him to supper at 'The South Forty' a really different eating establishment here in Pullman. We tried it once already and were very, very satisfied - really good food at reasonable prices, too. Then we'll go home for banana creme pie - his very favorite of all time that I make at least once a year for him.
Then we'll be getting ready for the new year. This year on NYD we're going to do some future planning - we've decided that setting some goals and getting an idea of what and how we want to "run" this retirement thing will be a good idea. And there's no time like the present to begin the process.

I just love the cold weather!!! Perfect for snuggling :-)
You are right Courtney - and I have a great snuggler!!
I turned 61 (shhhh!) last August. And my first child was 33 yesterday (Dec. 30). I think goal-setting at the new year is so worthwhile.
Glad you made it home all right. Keep warm!!!
And my first was 40 last Nov 15 - time flies whether one is having fun or not, LOL. So, I intend to have fun for the rest of my life. RIGHT?
