As spring is in the air in the northern hemisphere and those in the southern hemisphere start setting their sights for the arrival of winter, a lot of crocheters and knitters find that their crafting changes along with their wardrobe. Have a look through your finished projects and explain the seasonality of your craft to your readers. Do you make warm woollens the whole year through in preparation for the colder months, or do you live somewhere that never feels the chill and so invest your time in beautiful homewares and delicate lace items. How does your local seasonal weather affect your craft?"


Hmmmmm another difficult thing to blog on about.  

I live in the northern hemisphere, so it is spring coming summer here.  I seem to have a pretty random knitting pattern as to what I knit when, BUT for socks.  I really do try to knit up winter socks in the cold season and summer socks in the warm season - socks for me go quickly so I don't have to do them off-season.  I do make warm sweaters, shawls, mittens, & cowls-good for cold times, but many of my shawls are lacy, airy things suitable for warm weather, too.  

Seasonally what does affect my knitting/craft time is the fact that I am an avid gardener and thus the seasons that are filled with that sort of activity do cut into my crafting time.  Often knitting/crochet/spinning/sewing have to wait for veggies & fruit.
