Hot day "in the salt mines"

Spent the day down at the off-site greenhouse, taking samples for the virus lab and harvesting beans. HOT-HOT-HOT.

I'm looking forward to a little rest at home. 

Supper will not be too difficult, just a broccoli-bacon quiche, using up some of those lovely "hen fruit" & fresh garden broccoli. 


I'm hoping to get in a little knitting on the baby sweater.  I've finished the body & the sleeves, just need to pick up and knit the button bands - I'm thinking of doing some seed stitch instead of ribbing.
