And the "BeanQueen's" retirement begins

with work in the garden, work in the house, home preserving, etc., etc., etc.  But don't be fooled, I already have set myself a schedule - 'work' in the morning, 'play' in the afternoon!

Today I've dug the carrots and plan to freeze another set of ripe tomatoes - they are nearly all haravested, a big colander of ripening ones on the counter and the remaining green ones in the 'greenhouse'.  Just a few potatoes to dig and maybe some autumn raspberries to rescue (it seems some survived that one night of freeze) and the clean-up will begin.

I plan to sew on the curtains for the great-grand daughter's room today, too.  The 'kids' told me they are painting Hazel's room today, too.

Oh what fun! -- whether work or play. I applaud your schedule, though I allow myself flexibility. But we all have to work, and there's satisfaction in that.

Is "Hazel" your great-granddaughter's name? If so, quite old-fashioned, I think. You just don't hear some names any more, and "Hazel" is one of those.

Well, I am very comfortable with schedules - I just like it that way. But never worry, I take time for me too.

Yes, the kids like old-fashioned names.
