Brrrrrr. We are just not used to humidity around here. It makes it seem colder that the temperature tells us it is.
I took my friend Nora shopping today, we got groceries and other supplies. She doesn't drive & her husband had a serious accident so can no longer take her to do that sort of thing. Yup! that's what friends are for, right?
We got our recycles into the 'depot' had a good visit & enjoyed a good time at lunch, too. When I dropped her off at home she gave me a start from a vanilla orchid. She has quite a few orchids & they seem to do better than mine do so I'm hoping the vanilla orchid survives.

It's great to be able to supply a friend's need. I, too, have a friend who no longer drives, and I enjoy helping her.
