Winter may be showing its frosty head

We had a tiny bit of snow, just brief flurries and no sticking, VERY wet.  But it is the usual grey of winter out there and not getting past the 30's in temperature; makes one feel cold and desiring of just staying indoors & snugging down in quilts.

I made more banana bread to share with our neighbors - our holiday gift to them - and some regular bread for 'tP's lunches.  This time I tried putting already cooked quinoa grains in the bread - it turned out pretty good & very tasty, too.

Today has some house cleaning in the works & more crafty work.  I am trying the "crochet in the round" pattern for bears from The Mother Bear Project.  Previously I have knit the bears in the round, but thought I'd give crochet a go.  The crochet bears are turning out smaller than the knitted ones.  Maybe I need to go down a needle size for my knitted bears???

And, I need to work on the sweater for my dad, plus the SFS socks-they are nearly done!

Wow! You're getting a lot done while you stay under that quilt!
