Friday & the Quilt Shop Hop

I had a lovely time visiting the quilt shops in my area that were participating in the ShopHop. 

Well, of course I spent money, is that not what one does on a shop hop???? 

But I got to see some nifty fabrics and find out more information about some of the shops. 
I found where to get lessons for my embroidery machine, even if it is not the brand the shop sells, and I found where to get lessons plus rent a very big (& fancy, too) long arm machine - and it won't break the bank, either. 
I came home and got my evening chores done, now I'm just going to sit back and read, I think.
