My mum is improving every day, so we have just decided to do the "take it one day at a time" method. She's not ready to "check out" yet she says and has a lot of things to do before that time comes. It's a good attitude to have I think!
The pie cherries are very ready & we will pick them tonight. Then I'll focus on garden produce and the beginning of getting ready for the heavy fruit season. Of course, then thoughts will turn to what we need to do to prepare for the cold weather.
We have many home projects to tackle as soon as 'tP' becomes 't-retired-P' and we have lots of time to do things together.
And yes, we've made ourselves a bargain not to become too irritated at that prospect, LOL

Sorry your plans for the picture didn't work out. I wanted to see it! It's so good to hear that your mother is doing things and making plans.
I was just thinking this morning as the day was becoming quickly hot that soon we'll be planning for winter. Hardly seems possible.
I know, but as you well are aware it comes more quickly than we think ;~)
