Last night was the gala Masquerade Ball & auction for the DD Salvation Army fund raiser. Although there was a less than desirable attendance they plan on another next year. The folks who attended had a great time, the food was great, the piano + vocalist were stupendous, and the auction garnered quite a few dollars for this good cause. All of the money raised here stays here, that is one of the good things about the SA. the mister & I came home with a cowboy print (for him) and some copper pans & an English teapot (for me).
The Palouse Wind has been in evidence for a while here. And we even got some rain - helps me with the autumn watering 😃
This afternoon is the community potluck here in Colton, a fund-raiser for our local fire department.
It should be lots of fun.
