Time flies whether you're having fun or not!
Here it is the end of October already. We're sort of prepared for winter; outside anyway. The Handyman service is nearly done with this part of the home repairs; more to come next year. I've nearly all of the plants protected for winter, just waiting for more leaves to drop so I can cover the berries and the roses.
Mostly I've been engaged in making msH's Halloween costume - this year she wanted to be a dragon. Now I know why costumers get paid well or they should be anyway. I've had to "McIver" the thing as there are not dragon patterns to be had. I'm nearly done, just the wings to go.
I've been doing a bit of spinning and some knitting, too. msH & I went to the Wool Gatherer's autumn retreat and had a very good time. She enjoyed herself tremendously. I'm so glad we get to do things together as soon it will be something that is just too boring for someone who's going to become a teen in only a few years!
